Sell Your Skills - What do you know? What do you do well? Can you teach it to others? Can you sell it as a service?

I know many people who make nice incomes cleaning other peoples homes or businesses. This is a service that is always in demand.

Are you good with kids? Maybe you could babysit.

Are you good at math? Any other subject? Can you play the piano well? If you have any musical or education related skills you can teach to make money. You could give piano or swimming lessons. You could tutor math.

When I was in the 9th grade the school board hired students who were recommended by their Algebra teachers to peer tutor. Of course, that was an actual job. I wasn't self-employed. The thing is that I did that at 14 because I believed in myself. If I thought that I couldn't do it then, I never would have done it at all.

Even if you don't think you are skilled at anything some things most people can do, barring physical limitations. Jobs like mowing lawns, raking leaves, and walking dogs aren't rocket science. However, they all take willingness and an interest in the work to be done well.

With enough effort and willingness to succeed you can turn your talents into a career. How to do that is beyond the scope of this article. However, I assure you it can be done.
