Rock Painting

Rocks
Acrylic Paint

Use your imagination. You can paint faces on your rocks to make pet rocks. Or, you can decorate them as paperweights.

Greeting Cards

Construction Paper or
Paper or
Note Cards
Pens
Cayons and/or Markers

One of the sweetest gifts a parent can recieve is a heartfelt, homeade card from their child.

If you are using construction paper or regular paper fold it in half. Next, decorate the outside. Then write some words on the inside. A nice touch is to add a drawing.

Wall Art

Supplies will depend upon your age. Choose from:

12 and younger can use:
Crayon or
Markers
Poster Board

Teens can use:
Acrylic Paint
Canvas

To create your masterpiece pick something that you can draw well. Draw it large in the center of your poster board. When you are done with the large picture, you can draw either smaller pictures around it or color the background a solid color.

For teens, if you can not paint well you can either choose to draw instead or create a collage of shapes with different colors to fill the canvas completely.

Now that you have your masterpiece you can choose to give it to someone special or have a parent hang it in your room. Enjoy.

Bracelets

Elastic String
Beads or
Natural Items (things you can find outside)
Scissors
Pen

If you are using natural items that do not have a hole please ask a parent to place a hole in them.

Measure out the string by wrapping it around your wrist or if it's for an adult measure it around a parent's wrist. Now add about an inch for extra length to tie. Mark the spot with a pen where you need to cut. Use scissors to cut the string.

Next thread your beads or natural items onto the string by placing the string through the hole in the bead or item. Once the string is full tie the ends together into a double knot. You now have a unique bracelet that you can wear or give as a gift.

Homemade Paste

Flour
Water
Bowl
Spoon
